So we created an Angry God.

We are jealous,
So we created a Jealous God.

We withhold blessings from others,
So we created a Merciless God.

We hate,
So we created a God who hates.

We fear,
So we created a God that instills fear.

We are lofty,
So we created a Lofty God.

We are judgemental,
So we created a Judging God

We are punishers,
So we created a Punishing God.

We are controlling,
So we created a Controlling God.

We are possessive,
So we created a Possessive God.

Oh if we could become Lovers,
Then maybe, just maybe, we would create a Loving God.
